Moral values topped the list of issues voters were
most concerned about when they went to the polls on Election Day. A
national exit poll found 22 percent polled cited moral values as the "most
important issue," with the economy and jobs second at 20 percent
and terrorism at 19 percent. Iraq came in fourth at 15 percent.
(Joseph
Curl and Julia Duin, THE WASHINGTON TIMES)
Americans have spoken loud and clear. Our nation’s No. 1 concern
and priority is that we return to basic core values and become a
nation of people that embody positive character traits like family
values, dignity, responsibility, and mutual respect.
